FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are your kittens registered?

Yes. Our kittens are registered with either The International Cat Association (TICA) or Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA).

Kittens are sold on a breeder slip. Once proof of spay/neuter is provided, registration paperwork will be transferred to the new owner.

2. Are your cats health tested?

Absolutely. The health and longevity of our lines are a top priority. Our breeding cats are genetically tested for common Maine Coon conditions, including:

  • HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy)
  • SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)
  • PKDef (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency)

Documentation is available upon request.

3. How does the reservation process work?

We operate using a notification list and a reservation system.

  • Families on the notification list are contacted first when litters are born.
  • Pre-reserved families select their kittens in the order deposits were received.
  • Remaining kittens, if any, are made available to the public after pre-reserved families choose.

Due to high demand, we recommend joining the notification list early.

4. How much are your kittens?

Pricing varies depending on color, lineage, and pet vs. breeding rights. Please contact us directly for current pricing and availability.

5. Do you sell kittens with breeding rights?

Breeding rights are only offered to approved, established, and ethical breeding programs. We carefully screen all breeders to ensure our kittens are placed responsibly.

We reserve the right to refuse breeding rights at our discretion.

6. At what age do kittens go home?

Kittens go home at 12 weeks of age. This allows them to properly socialize, nurse, and develop healthy behaviors before transitioning to their new families.

7. Do kittens come vaccinated and vet checked?

Yes. Before going home, kittens:

  • Receive age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Are dewormed
  • Have a veterinary health check
  • Come with a health guarantee

8. Do you spay or neuter kittens before they go home?

At this time, we do not spay or neuter kittens prior to placement. Pet kittens are sold under a strict spay/neuter agreement, and proof is required before registration paperwork is finalized.

9. Do you ship?

We can assist with transportation arrangements if needed. The safety and comfort of the kitten is our top priority.

10. What makes our cattery different?

We are a home-based Maine Coon breeding program operating across three locations, where our cats are raised as part of daily family life.

Our kittens are not raised in isolation. They grow up underfoot, around everyday household activity, and are handled from birth to ensure they develop confident, affectionate temperaments.

Our focus is simple and consistent:

  • Health and genetic responsibility
  • Strong structure and proper type
  • Loving, stable temperaments
  • Ethical and transparent breeding practices

While we are not a small cattery, we remain deeply involved in every litter. Each pairing is intentional, and each kitten is carefully evaluated before placement to ensure the best possible match for both kitten and family.

When you bring home one of our kittens, you’re not just purchasing a cat — you’re becoming part of our extended cattery family. We remain available for guidance, support, and questions long after your kitten goes homes

Do you allow visits?

As of Dec 1st 2025 we have converted into a closed cattery and no longer alloq visits

Why Are We a Closed Cattery?

To protect the health and safety of our cats and kittens, we operate as a closed cattery and do not allow in-person visits. While we completely understand the desire to meet kittens before bringing one home, biosecurity is extremely important in any responsible Maine Coon breeding program. Outside exposure can introduce viruses, bacteria, and parasites that may not affect adult cats but can be dangerous — even life-threatening — to young kittens.Because our cats live inside our homes across three locations, protecting their environment is a top priority. We are committed to transparency and provide:

Photos and videos

Video calls upon request

Regular updates throughout your kitten’s growth

Goal is to ensure families feel confident and connected while maintaining the safest possible environment for our cats.Thank you for respecting our commitment to their health. This keeps it warm, not defensive. It says: “We care about our kittens more than we care about convenience.”If you’d like, I can also draft a slightly firmer version — one that subtly filters out people who push boundaries.
